Tourist board bid fails

The Kingdom of Fife Tourist Board, in partnership with the neighbouring area tourist boards in Perthshire, Dundee and Angus, have failed with bids for financial support through the Scottish Tourist Board’s niche marketing initiative.

The applications were on behalf of golf promotion. conference marketing and cruise liner promotion.

A spokesman for the Kingdom of Fife Tourist Board said that while it was still committed to joint working on each of the projects, less money than had been hoped for would be available.
