KCC Minutes
Meeting held on 10 October 2004 at Kingsbarns School
Hall
Present : Cllr. Peter Douglas and 13 village residents
1. Community Council Members :
Cllr Douglas reported that since the last Meeting the
following 4 nominees had put forward their names and had been duly elected as
Community Council Members;
Joyce Taylor, Clare Wright, Peter Erskine and Geoff Lang.
These elections had been made as the number of nominations were less than the
number of vacancies, and only those 4 persons had put their names forward as
being willing to stand.
This evenings Meeting therefore, represented the
inaugural Meeting of the newly elected Kingsbarns Community Council.
Care Wright voiced her wish to hand over the Chair of the
Community Council to another. There being no other volunteers Joyce Taylor was
duly appointed and accepted as the new Chairman of the Community Council.
The post of Treasurer being vacant, and there being no
volunteers for this post, Peter Erskine was duly proposed and accepted.
The post of Secretary had been vacant since the resignation
of Margo McKee in July, and there being no volunteers, Geoff Lang was duly
proposed and accepted.
Finally, Charlotte Kirby was nominated as Vice
Chairman.
2. Minutes of previous Meeting :
The Meeting scheduled for September 13th had not taken
place, hence the last Meeting was July 5th.
The Minutes of that July 5th Meeting would go forward for
agreement at the next meeting (November 22nd).
3. Matters arising:
Sub-Committee
Recalling that in April April 2004 Miss Jean BeIl, Scott
Tunrbull and Huw Lloyd-Richards had -been elected to serve on the sub-committee

findings would be presented at the next Community Council Meeting on Monday
November 22nd in the Kingsbarns Memorial Hall.
