b) Role In Kingsbarns, a prospective pilot project
has been identified within the community as an opportunity in which the
community would work with developers and local landowners to provide affordable
housing as part of a mixed tenure residential development. There is still scope
to progress this concept if community groups are agreeable and if housing
association or householder interest and funding is demonstrated to be
available.

West Of Square Masterplan Proposal Pr40
Fife Council in partnership with the community will produce
a masterplan and development brief for the residential development on sites h48
and h49 and the provision of additional open space. It will address design and
layout requirements, integration with the existing settlement, the need for
affordable housing and suitable locations for proposed open space and any other
community facilities.
Kingsbarns Village Design Statement Proposal
Pr41
Fife Council will support the community of Kingsbarns in
the production of a village design statement which should integrate with the
above masterplan.
